Lylee fell asleep so I've been using the internet to catch up on news and watch some videos. The world can be an awfully scary place, but sometimes there are some really good (and funny!) things that happen! Here's my list of good things in the world!
1. Emma Stone
Mom says Emma is a "feminist." I'm not sure what that means, but Mom assured me it has nothing to do with felines. (Don't get me wrong, I LOVE cats!) Emma is a classy, outspoken lady, AND she has no problem being a goof ball! Did you see her lip-sync on Jimmy Fallon? I was in bed, but I saw the video online! (Emma & Jimmy Fallon)
2. Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson
Humans do this thing where they promise to love one another forever and ever. Dad says it's called "marriage" and mom tricked him into it. According to the internet, Tom and Rita have been together for over 25 years! I thought famous people split up all the time. It's pretty cool that fame hasn't caused them heartbreak.
3. Let It Go
Can I just say how awesome this song is? Mom and Lylee sing it all. the. time. when Dad's not home. Still not sick of it!
4. TOMS One Day Without Shoes
Mom wears these shoes called TOMS. She said they give a free pair to kids in need when she buys them. I think that's kinda' silly- I do just fine without shoes... Anyway, yesterday people went feet-commando to raise awareness. I raise awareness every day!
5. Harry Potter
Welp, Mom got me hooked. I've only read the first two books, but I've already learned that courage lives in everyone and family is more than just blood-related! The soundtrack and movies really speak to my soul, too. I'm no longer a muggle! (Can dogs be muggles?) Now Dad has TWO crazy Potter-heads in the house. Hehe!
Lylee's a bit of a pessimist... maybe I'll show her my list when she wakes up! Hopefully it cheered you up, too!
